One of my favorites...Regina King has been working for forever!!! And she looks really cute on the cover of Essence! She has been in so much...227,Enemy of the State, Jerry Maquire, Friday, Miss Congeniality, Ray, A Cinderella Story, Boyz in the Hood, Legally Blonde 2,...and soooooooo much more...I really could go on and on...I would love to hear her story...she's one of those Actor's who is consistent but never really gets recognized...but Im watching... :-) man I would love to have a resume like hers...Persistence and Focus Cat...Persistence and Focus...

She's a talented Actor and Phenomenal Singer & Songwriter, but she has added Producer to the title. 

With her husband and Producing Partner, Lawrence, Saint Victor Productions released their first film The Forgiven that was shown during the Urbanworld Film Festival, The Big Apple Film Festival and making it's 2011 debut at the John Paul II International Film Festival in February.  I am so proud of my brother and sister!

SOMETHING BIG!!!!!

 IS IT SPRING TIME YET????? I miss me some MARY MARY! They are so consistent when it comes to Music! I Love every single album they have put out thus far and I  cant wait until Spring when they drop their 5th Album "SOMETHING BIG."  I had the privilege of having them as my headlining Artist for my very first Concert I produced during Howard's Homecoming in 2005! ITS A NEW YEAR!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLES'!

ITS 2011 and I am sssssooooooo excited about this year!  In 2010, I brought it in with a few colleagues in Toronto, ON while working on a musical called Virtuosity. Once the show closed in February, I took some much needed time off and hid somewhere where no one could find me for about 4 weeks. I was moving way too fast and I needed to hear from God. To make a long story short, God gave me everything I needed and as I look back at 2010 I must say...it was GREAT! I made a basket list of my accomplishments in 2010 (shout out to @imkeepingup for the Idea)...

GOD HAS ASSIGNED TO ME A NEW PROJECT TO WORK ON THAT I AM EXTREMELY EXCITED ABOUT! (Shout out to my Partner @acoolchristian) This project WILL serve out its purpose because it was all God's plan...I am just humbled that he gave it to me....stay tuned :-)

I FOUND MY NEW CHURCH HOME ABUNDANT LIFE FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER. I would visit this church a lot while attending Perfecting Faith's Church in Long Island. PFC was a phenomenal church, great Bible Teaching, great people, but the commute from NJ to Long Island was a JOURNEY that I could no longer take. One day I went to see my Pastor from Detroit ( The AMAZING Marvin Winans) preach at Abundant  Life and afterwards I had a thorough conversation with him about....a lot....but he helped me make the decision of joining ALFWC and it was one of the BEST decisions of my life. The Word being taught is VALID, the Worship experience is UNBELIEVABLE and the people are KIND, NON JUDGEMENTAL and ANOINTED! Our Pastor @gcsearight is a Intelligent man of God with a youthful spirit! Did I mention our first lady Pastor Mary is THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!! All that to say...I'm happy to be a part of a great ministry.

I BOOKED MY 1ST OFF BROADWAY PLAY! All American Girls was a great show with a BEAUTIFUL cast of women and a phenomenal director, Layon Gray. Life Long Friendships

I COMPLETED MY FIRST BIATHLON! 14 Miles of Running and Biking with my crew! When the shot was fired to take off, I thought " wow this is gonna be a piece of cake" until 5 minutes into the race when I looked back and no one was behind me lololololol...but I kept it moving and completed in less than 2 hours! The best memory was having my friends run the last few feet with me until I made it across the finish line..I LOVE MY CREW!!! We Run Brooklyn...LITERALLY!

 I CAME TO KNOW GOD IN A MORE INTIMATE WAY! Its nothing like getting to know God better than before. I am forever working on my relationship with him. I am so BLESSED to know him and even more BLESSED to know that HE KNOWS ME and CALLS ME FRIEND! :-)

Well that's all..So what's the plan for 2011????Last year was great...this year will be GREATER!! I'M MOVING FORWARD! I WILL BE BETTER THAN I WAS BEFORE! Its the Year of MATURITY!

OWN IT!!!!

Am I the only one excited about Oprah's new Television Network OWN?  Just the title inspires me to walk in EXCELLENCE and accept what God has called me to do and OWN It! Ok...maybe I went too far lol...anyway.. I think this new Network will be refreshing...

The show Im looking forward to seeing the most is Oprah Presents: MASTER CLASS.(Sundays 10/9c) The Title of the show is so HOTT!!!!!! We will be able to hear from famous people who we all love respect and admire talk about their successes, failures, triumphs, disappointments and heartaches... There's gonna be some great people on the first season  such as Diane Sawyer, Jay Z and Maya Angelou but I am especially looking forward to hearing from  Condoleezza Rice... would love to hear about her journey..anywho...Here's a sneak peak of the show here: http://www.oprah.com/own-master-class/Oprah-Presents-Master-Class

THE GREATEST GIFT

Welcome Everyone!
I've decided to jump on the bandwagon and blog....Its nothing too intense...just tons of fun. Who knows how long this will last.(My friend William Bryant Miles gave me til February lol)...Im just an ordinary girl from  Detroit  who moved to DC who moved to Philly who moved to Jersey but claims New York because it sounds cool ....
